Becoming a Discussion Leader
Question
Can anyone be a discussion leader?
Solution

Our RFTS Discussion Leaders come from many walks of life...teachers, social workers, librarians, parent educators, storytellers, and others who love books and want to help parents learn about family reading.  Each brings his/her own special gifts and talents to RFTS programs.   If you are considering becoming a RFTS Discussion Leader, ask yourself these questions:

Are you passionate about books and stories?

Do you enjoy working with small groups of parents and caregivers in a discussion setting?

Are you non-judgemental and able to work with parents and caregivers from a variety of socio-economic groups?

Are you reliable, friendly, and enthusiastic?

If you answered YES, learn more about becoming a Discussion Leader here on our website, or call Julie at 800-357-0909.
